1. Server data collection and hosting

We use web hosting provided by STRATO. The service is operated by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Strasse 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO enables us to maintain a domain under which we can publish our website.

When you visit our website, various server statistics are automatically stored, which your browser transmits to our provider's server. The name of the website accessed, the file, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider are logged.

This data is used for statistical analysis of visits to our site and cannot be traced back to specific individuals.

The legal basis for data collection is Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR. This data is not merged with other data sources. The IP address is anonymized. Our legitimate interest in collecting this data is based on the fact that we can use the data to optimize our offering for users, e.g. by preventing access from malicious sites or optimizing access via certain browsers, and that the logging of the IP address enables the page to be delivered to the visitor in the first place.
You have the right to object to this data collection. However, this is not practicable here, as it would make it impossible to access the site.
The data is deleted after seven days.

1a. Security of data transmission

You have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future; see also section 5 on your rights as a data subject.

2b. Contract processing
Within the framework of contracts concluded with you, we collect and store the personal data you provide, such as your name and address, for the purpose of contract processing, including for invoicing. The data is passed on to banks or tax advisors for billing purposes. The billing data is transferred to the tax office in accordance with tax law requirements.
The legal basis for the collection, processing, and transfer of data within the scope of contract processing is Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR. The legal basis for the transfer of data to the tax office is Article 6 (1) (c) of the GDPR.
This data is deleted after the expiry of the applicable statutory retention obligations. If we are not subject to any statutory retention obligations, the data is deleted when the purpose ceases to apply.
You have the right to information and objection regarding your data stored by us at any time, see section 5 below on your rights as a data subject.

2c. Contact form and e-mail inquiries
If you send us an inquiry by e-mail, we will collect and store your e-mail address and the data contained in the e-mail in order to respond to your inquiry.
Statutory basis: If the inquiry leads to the establishment of a contractual relationship or if the inquiry relates to an existing contractual relationship, the statutory basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, stating that the storage of the data is necessary for the performance of a pre-contractual or contractual obligation. We also have a legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR in processing the data for the purposes of communication and responding to your inquiries.
The data will be deleted once the purposes of storing it no longer apply, i.e. after your inquiry has been answered or once the matter relating to the inquiry has been conclusively clarified. In the case of an existing contractual relationship or one arising from the inquiry, the data will be deleted after the statutory retention periods have expired.
For information on your right to deletion of and to information about your data, see section 5 below.
