December 16, 2025 – “Der Anschlag” (The Attack) in Hanover – Short film program at the Weiße Rose Mühlenberg community center

On December 16, 2025, the Weiße Rose Mühlenberg Community Center in Hanover will be transformed into a cinema. Activist short film gems from the 1960s and 1980s from the archives of the Deutsche Kinemathek will be shown. These include “Der Anschlag” by Pia Frankenberg.

In 2025, the motto of the Deutsche Kinemathek's KURZFILMTAG (SHORT FILM DAY) will be: NOW!
Five stories focus on protagonists who actively free themselves from personal lethargy, creative blockages, social and political injustice, and societal imbalances.
